A New Way To Annoy Web Users
It seems now that pop-ups and pop-unders have been vanquished, web developers had to find a new way to annoy users. What did they come up with? Sound! Yes, now you can be suddenly jolted out of your chair by a disembodied voice talking to you. The Associated Press Technology News has the full story.
I haven’t encountered this crap yet, but here’s hoping someone is working on an app to prevent it. Anyone out there been assaulted by this yet?
