Photoshop Quick Tip 7– Adding a Style to Photoshop’s Styles Palette
To
add a Photoshop Style to it’s Styles palette, open the Styles palette and use
its flyout menu to choose “Load Styles…” Direct your way to the
location of the downloaded style and click “Load”.

Now, with the layer mask of the iPod Person layer selected in the Layers palette, edit the mask to further refine the extraction. I like using the Smudge tool to smoosh the edge of the extraction a tiny bit so that they don’t look pixelated. This process will allow you to edit out any rough spots or refine any details that you missed or couldn’t get right in the Extract filter window.

Name your newly pasted layer “iPod” and, with it selected, go Image>Adjustments>Threshold. Adjust the Threshold Level slider until as much of the object’s details are shown without it being overly white or overly black–we want the iPod in the image to be simplified. Mine came in at about 187. Click OK when you’re done.
Decide which contact point on which you will focus for this shadow.
