Anxiety… anything but

I think the answer to the question “What is the best way to keep track of your ‘to-dos’?” is the same as the answer to the question “What is the best exercise regime?”: the one that you will do and stick with. Any other method, no matter how thorough and well thought out, will ultimately fail. The only way to remember what you have to get done is to put that stuff in front of you in a way that will make you take action.

As many tools as there are in the “GTD” space already, there has yet to be one that I can’t ignore. Maybe this new one from Tom Stoelwinder of Model Concept will be the one. The app is called Anxiety; it’s a freeware program that provides a smoky little window of to-dos. All of the information is synchronized with Mail and iCal, so this simple little app can be the interface for the more complicated systems you already have in place.

Time will tell if it will keep me on track. But even if it doesn’t work for me, it might be just what one of our readers is looking for.
