Wardriving tool released by Kensington

Perfect for the weary Road Warrior eager to find a handy hotspot from which to check his email, Kensington has released the WiFi Finder. The Kensington web site describes it as “The only WiFi detector on the market today” …short of a 802.11 equipped ‘Book with a copy of MacStumbler on it.

Hax0r Haiku

Here are a few snapshots from a hacker’s world captured in that tiniest of literary forms, haiku. Some express great sadness, such as this sample:

“Overclock your box

it is very fast … at first

warranty now void”

The whole article is at Librenix.

MacTeens 0wned

We’ve gotten word from our friends at MacTeens.com that they have been hacked. Probably a case of the script kiddies, but in any event the site will be down for a few days. We’ll let you know when it’s back up and if it comes to our attention what happened. Update: A lot of damage was done. Quite a few articles are going to be gone forever. Hopefully it won’t take long to rebuild.
