Markzware announces GoodToGoâ„¢ Europe
An online solution for any print shop, publisher or prepress house, making it easier to preflight and receive customer files.
Markzware b.v. announces GoodToGoâ„¢ Europe; a subscription solution based on Markzware’s MarkzNetâ„¢ technology. This online preflight, job collection and digital file delivery solution is used by your customers over the Internet and is available free of setup charges for a limited time.
GoodToGo allows a job to be preflighted before it is sent to a printer, publisher or prepress service provider. GoodToGo checks job files for the correct size, color space, resolution, and other mechanical requirements. If the job is correct, it collects the layout file, support files, and fonts into a single compressed archive. This archive is sent to the final destination via FTP with the click of a single button. Forty-two file types are supported, including Quark, PDF, InDesign, PageMaker, Illustrator, Freehand, Photoshop, EPS, TIFF and JPEG. Nearly one hundred built-in preflight rules can be configured in minutes using a simple Web browser interface. GoodToGo can be easily customized with your own job ticket and corporate branding.
The Managed Solution is co-hosted on GoodToGo’s high-speed web servers with three different levels of service:
Level One:
- Supports forty-two native application file readers, including PDF
- Allows use and configuration of nearly 100 preflight rules
- Allows customization and branding of web interface
- Supports online help system
- Tracks sent jobs including warnings and errors
- Includes 300 transactions per month
Level Two:
- All the features of Level 1 and you can customize the GoodToGo client application with your branding
- Up to 700 transactions per month
Level Three:
- 1200 transactions per month
The Enterprise Version is a full, stand-alone solution integrated into your web-server systems with your company’s branding that you own and manage at your own facility.
There will be an introductory offer beginning with the launch at IPEX in Birmingham, England April 9, 2002; the initial set-up fee (4,010 €) will be waived for the Level One solution through July 1, 2002. Customers wishing more features may apply the amount to either the Level Two or Three solutions.
