OS X should be run on Intel
If you aren’t familiar with Robert X. Cringely (the tech god) this article won’t have nearly as much merit as if you were like the 95% of people that are. He is calling for an Intel version of OS X. Although that may sound crazy at first; think about it. Even if it took tens of thousands of man hours the potential profits are limitless.

AOL pulls the plug, Adium fires back
If you haven’t heard of or used Adium it is one of the most loved X only applications by fans of the popular instant message system AIM. What it does is take the best things about AIM, added about 80 more, and then let the user customize pretty much everything. It’s as close to perfect AIM as it could be. In just a short few months it became a cult hit requiring only a few hours use by any AIM fan to have it replace AOL’s piece of software. This afternoon AOL pulled the plug….
Later this afternoon a work around has been posted by Adam Iser, the creator of Adium. The work around is either change the server from toc.oscar.aol.com to java-aim-vip-m.blue.aol.com and the port to 5190. There is no word as to how long this will last but for those Adium addicts like myself it’s a life saver.
