Inventive Announces iClip lite for Dashboard

Inventive has announced iClip lite, a free Dashboard widget for Mac OS X “Tiger” based on Inventive’s iClip. iClip lite was designed in conjunction with the upcoming Dashboard related website, MacWidgets.net and features stylish graphics and animation by the talented Mac theme artist, Pe8er.

iClip lite is a multiple clipboard and scrapbook widget designed to improve user efficiency and productivity for various computing tasks. It enables users to quickly store and retrieve snippets of information like text, pictures, Internet addresses and more in its multiple “clip bins”.

iClip lite is available for free now for Mac OS X 10.4 “Tiger”

Faronics releases Deep Freeze for Tiger

Faronics has announced that Deep Freeze Mac OS X Version 1.8 has been officially released. This version is compatible with both Tiger and Panther. A new user guide, brochure, evaluation version, and full shipping version are all available on Faronics’ web site. Customers using Jaguar still have the ability to use Deep Freeze Mac OS X version 1.7 (still available for download).

Deep Freeze provides non-restrictive protection that allows a standard nonadmin to make changes in their home directory, but restores the entire directory to its exact original configuration after a logout, restart, selected time interval, or on a selected day of the week. Any changes made by a user are temporary, including changes to the desktop, Library, fonts, Dock, or screen settings.

Business Card Composer 3.1 adds Tiger compatibility

BeLight Software today releases Business Card Composer 3.1, bringing Tiger compatibility to the popular business card tool.

Version 3.1 adds new paper layouts from Avery, supports new card stock from Conqueror. It fixes a bug in printing cards as vector on layouts with bleeds. Many minor bugs are fixed. Business Card Composer 3.1 is free for current users. It’s priced at USD$34.95
