Epson CX4600

Are you looking for a good Printer/Scanner/Copier? Are you shopping on a low budget? Then look no further than the Epson CX4600.

The CX4600 prints at 5760×1440 dpi with 15 ppm for both black and color, and scans at 600×1200 dpi. These are no shocking features but for $129, the Epson CX4600 is well worth the money.

While the printer dpi is not stellar, it does produce very nice prints. Keep in mind, this is not a printer for the graphic design industry. The scanner dpi is nothing to scream about, but it does a great job too. Keep in mind, this not a scanner for the graphic design industry. The CX4600 does make use of Epson’s DURABrite inks, which provide long-lasting and water-resistant prints.

The ability to initiate black & white and color copies without a connected computer is a welcome and time-saving addition. The color copies, however, do come out slightly darker than the original and there is no way to correct this without the included software.

Overall, the Epson CX4600 is a great Printer/Scanner/Copier if you are looking for something dependable and low-cost.

Pros: Low price, computer-less copy support, uses DURABrite inks.

Cons: Color copies are darker than originals.
