”… file is not compatible with this version of Photoshop.” Adobe offers aid

If you’ve tried to open a PSD file that you last saved in Adobe Photoshop and get the following error:

Could not complete your request because the file is not compatible with this version of Photoshop.

Adobe is pointing the finger at Norton… Symantec Norton AntiVirus 9.0 to be exact. If you’ve encountered this problem, check out Adobe’s solution and let us know if it was any help.
