Is your MacBook Pro giving you kernel panics when you use wifi? Mine too.

I’ve been asked by a few Mac tech gurus to address a common problem that they have been dealing with; namely, a phenomenon affecting MacBook Pros that experience kernel panics when attempting to use their built-in Airport cards. The parts of the scenario that seem to more consistently reproduce the problem are as follows:

Kernel Panic 20070724 043405 Is your MacBook Pro giving you kernel panics when you use wifi? Mine too.

The obvious workarounds are to either network using ethernet or use wifi while also using an AC adapter. From what I understand, asking you local Mac tech guy to fix the problem will only cause the technician to become enraged as you are most likely one of a dozen people who has called them about this issue that day.

Though nothing official has been stated by Apple, it seems they have been made aware of the problem and, we assume, they are working on a fix.
