Kevin Smith can’t remain silent about Cult of Mac article

Wired’s Leander Kahney came under fire recently from the PC press for his article about iPods on the Microsoft campus. Now, PC bigots spouting off against a pro-Apple story is nothing new but today’s story about the behavior of some celebrities at Los Angeles Apple Stores has brought a response from a source more legendary for silence–director Kevin Smith (aka Silent Bob).

Mr Kahney has been man enough to post some of Mr. Smith’s response on the Cult of Mac Blog but the Jersey Trilogy director’s entire rebuttal can be found in the forums on his own web site. Smith says he’s been misrepresented in the article and, regarding claims that “he rarely has anything to say,” Kevin says, “I rarely have anything to say… unless I’m spoken to. I mean, isn’t that the way of the world? And whenever an associate has said something to me in that store, I’ve always then chatted them up.”

Note:Some of the language used on Kevin Smith’s forums may be inappropriate for some “audiences”.
