MacGPS Pro goes Universal

James Associates just announced the release of MacGPS Pro 6.4, a Universal Binary giving Intel-Mac users full Native performance. It also adds several geodetic datums to complete Universal coverage for any spot on the globe.

MacGPS Pro is the ultimate Macintosh software program for linking your Mac with GPS receivers and viewing your position on a wide variety of moving digital maps and charts. It supports NMEA 0183 input from all serial port, Bluetooth, and USGlobalSat USB receivers. Waypoints, Routes, Tracklogs can be graphically generated and edited for use on the Mac, or for transfer to and from Garmin Serial Port and USB Receivers, and Magellan Serial Port receivers. Macintosh System Requirements: Mac OS X 10.2 or later. For Garmin USB connection, Mac OS X 10.3.8 or later. MacGPS Pro is available for USD$49.99 (download) or USD$59.99 (CDROM).
