Make Safari bigger. Make Mail smaller. I know, it doesn’t make sense.
Here are two add-ons that take opposing views on productivity:
Safari-Stretch resides in Safari’s bookmarks bar and allows you to maximize the browser’s window in a single click. Safari-Stretch even respects your Dock no matter what position its in…right, left, bottom, whatever. Let Safari take over your screen and block out all other distractions. Meanwhile, there’s MiniMail that reduces the Mail.app window to a size similar to the iTunes window when it’s been “Zoomed” down to the basic controls. Keep your screen unobstructed by Mail’s massive window.
