Quark no longer double dipping on buggy software–free tech support!

As part of the new “kinder, gentler” Quark, the company has announced free technical support for its English-speaking customers starting December 1, 2004. Now you need not pay once for the software and once again for the support. Quark has reportedly made this decision as part of its new “customer-centric vision for today’s creative productivity”.
Registered customers of QuarkXPress in the United States can call 800.676.4575, option 7 for technical support during standard U.S. business hours (Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Mountain Time). E-mail support is also available.

Registered customers of QuarkXPress in Australia can call 800.670.973 for technical support during standard Australian business hours (Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Australian Eastern Standard Time). E-mail support is available at the same link as above.
