Rescentris announces CERF Electronic Lab Notebook for Intel-based Macs
Rescentris announced today that the latest release of its CERF-Notebook software runs native on the new Intel-based Macintosh computers. Leading R&D organizations world-wide are looking to replace paper-based record-keeping with electronic solutions, and many are taking advantage of the new Intel-powered Macs for their labs. Most pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies collaborate with scientists at institutions deploying these new Apple computers.
Rescentris’ CERF (Collaborative Electronic Research Framework) is used by life sciences researchers to record and share their work across diverse applications and operating systems. CERF is the industry’s only electronic laboratory notebook (ELN) software product built on semantic web technologies. It is a 21CFR11 compliant server-based system that manages scientific research content. CERF provides a full-featured ELN to actively capture intellectual property and make laboratory information readily available throughout R&D organizations. The Rescentris CERF-Notebook product was designed specifically to enable secure collaboration and to increase the efficiency of multi-disciplinary life scientists.
