SuperDuper! is ready for Leopard. Makes Time Machine drive bootable!
My favorite Mac backup utility, SuperDuper!, has finally been updated for Leopard. The folks at Shirt Pocket Software have been beating the program into Leopard submission since the OS’s release and it is now ready for action and better than ever.
SuperDuper! was already a very powerful and easy to use backup solution, but now with the addition of Time Machine to Leopard, you might think it rather superfluous. Not so.
The new SuperDuper! can replace Time Machine by offering a full backup of your drive without taking up extra space with all those “moments in time” snapshots. If you like being able to browse through those snapshots, SuperDuper! can offer your Time Machine drive an ability it never had before: bootablility. It can also allow you to make a flawless transfer of your Time Machine drive data if you decide to migrate it to a larger drive.
SuperDuper! sells for USD$27.95 but the Leopard update is FREE to existing customers.
