I try to never pay full price for Mac stuff. I’m not cheap, I just don’t see any need to pay more for equipment when I can buy the same stuff and still get the full Apple warranty coverage. How? Buy from the refurbished side of the Apple Online Store. Despite the unfortunate acronym, Certified Reconditioned Apple Products are not crap. For whatever reason, they didn’t meet Apple’s standards the first time around and have been given special attention to make them worthy of the bite bitten Apple logo and are covered by the same warranty as their “normal” siblings.
