iGlasses For Your iSight

Ecamm Network announces new iGlasses software for Mac OS X. iGlasses provides total control over your iSight video settings from within iChat AV. Choose from settings such as “Enhanced”, “Extra Bright” and even conference in near darkness with “Night Vision”.

As an added bonus, the software also activates the iSight on G3 computers which fall below Apple’s minimum system requirement of 600 MHz.
iGlasses costs $8.00 USD. A seven day demo is available.

Apple attempts to keep up with the gigabyte email competition

.Mac members have just been issued and additional 150MB of space to use for iDisk and email. In addition to the increased capacity, the maximum email size has been set to 10MB, a customizable online spellchecker has been incorporated as well as new mail management features. .Mac provides many ad-free features that cannot be found on Gmail but time will tell if these enhancements will be enough to differentiate it in the marketplace.

Apple today introduced two new Jam Packs for GarageBand, giving musicians and aspiring musicians alike all of the loops and software instruments they need to create music in the genre of their choice. Jam Pack 2: Remix Tools makes it easy to produce compelling dance, hip-hop and electronica tracks; and Jam Pack 3: Rhythm Section offers songwriters a complete backing band to help build a professional sounding foundation for their rock, alternative and country music
