For $99 US, Thrilled For You sells software for a customized themed video guestbook. You install the application and run an iMac or similarly iSight equipped Mac in kiosk mode at your wedding or reception. Then, as the emotion moves them, your guests, your family, your friends, your former lovers will take turns standing in front of the camera and expressing just how happy they are for you… or how drunk they are.

Watch your USB for Free

When Apple had the insight to replace its proprietary ADB connectors with USB, the Mac community rejoiced – and rightly so. USB has brought a slew of 3rd party peripherals to the platform. USB has also brought some interesting new quirks. Fortunately there is a great piece of freeware that will put your hot-swappable world in order.

USB Monitor is a simple utility that identifies USB devices as they are plugged, unplugged or otherwise activated. This utility provides a great way to monitor your devices without having to launch your Apple System Profiler.

The install the application you move it to your hard drive and double click its icon. After that the system extra works in the background, waiting for some USB action.

Make your invisible files visible with a double-click. This application gives you useful (but potentially dangerous) power over the underpinnings of the OS.

Search the Wikipedia, one of the largest free collections of information from your menubar.

mu Finding StuffMrClean

Search your hard drive for duplicate files and delete them. This free application compares files on a number of criteria, allowing you to identify and get rid of useless duplicates.

mu Finding Stuffdelicious2safari

Access your del.icio.us bookmarks in Safari, with multiple options for organizing them.
