If you know what a Tardis is, this story is probably for you

405355093 9c405ce298 m If you know what a Tardis is, this story is probably for youThe BBC brought back the cult classic, Doctor Who, in March of 2005 and the updated stories, improved effects and imaginative writing proved a massive hit with audiences both in the UK and America. With the third series about to start in the United Kingdom, my Twitter friend and Iconfactory icon artist, Gedeon Maheux, thought now was the perfect time to launch an all new set of Aqua Doctor Who icons for your desktop.

With these icons and a fun and graphic desktop picture based on the Doctor’s old stand-by enemies, the Cybermen, there is plenty to love in this week’s release for fans young and old…. Just don’t wait, the Doctor never stays in one place for very long.

Attack of the Show gives love to the Comic Art Effect tutorial

70727861 b814983a67 m Attack of the Show gives love to the Comic Art Effect tutorialIt’s almost 2 years old now but the Comic Art Effect Tutorial continues to find new audiences every so often.

Today it found its way onto G4′s Attack of the Show. They even offer a zipped action of their own creation that more faithfully follows the original instructions than my simplified version. Most impressive.

Note:Thanks to Digital Bill of The Wizards of Technology for tipping us to the tutorial’s small-screen fame.
