The TransDock is the all-new version of DLO’s TransPod, which transmits audio content from any dockable iPod using a car’s existing FM radio and 12-volt power outlet. And while the TransDock features a number of innovative upgrades and enhancements, the biggest difference is a new distinctive industrial design and an innovative video-output feature that lets users play their iPod videos through a car’s mobile video system while transmitting the video’s soundtrack to the car stereo.

The all-new DLO TransDock for iPod, priced at USD$99.99, will begin shipping March 2007. It will be available for purchase from national iPod retailers and via the DLO web site.

The iTrip Auto is built to accommodate every dock connector iPod, including iPod nano and 5th Generation iPods with video and combines Griffin’s FM transmitter technology with an integrated charger.

If you remember, last week, it was the combination of FM transmitter and charger that raised Digital Life Outfitter’s ire and got Griffin named in a patent infringement lawsuit for its RoadTrip device. Expect action to be taken against this product also.

iTrip Auto is priced at USD$69.99, and is available now… possibly for a limited time.

The Happiest Podcast on Earth–Disneyland podcasts its 50th anniversary

Disneyland Resort will podcast three days of celebrity-filled festivities starting on Tuesday, May 3 and leading to the May 5 launch of the “Happiest Celebration on Earth,” an 18-month global commemoration of the 50th anniversary of Disneyland in California that will simultaneously kick-off ceremonies at Disney parks around the world.

The podcast will incorporate a collection of exclusive celebrity interviews, music, historic anecdotes and live event coverage that will attempt to convey the excitement of the event and the story of what has made Disneyland the family vacation destination over the past five decades. The podcasts will include behind the scenes interviews as well as audio content detailing the debut of new entertainment spectaculars and groundbreaking adventures and attractions premiering at the Disneyland Resort as part of the 50th anniversary celebration.
