The TransDock is the all-new version of DLO’s TransPod, which transmits audio content from any dockable iPod using a car’s existing FM radio and 12-volt power outlet. And while the TransDock features a number of innovative upgrades and enhancements, the biggest difference is a new distinctive industrial design and an innovative video-output feature that lets users play their iPod videos through a car’s mobile video system while transmitting the video’s soundtrack to the car stereo.

The all-new DLO TransDock for iPod, priced at USD$99.99, will begin shipping March 2007. It will be available for purchase from national iPod retailers and via the DLO web site.

If you remember, last week, it was the combination of FM transmitter and charger that raised Digital Life Outfitter’s ire and got Griffin named in a patent infringement lawsuit for its RoadTrip device. Expect action to be taken against this product also.
