GarageBand 4.1.2 and Aperture 2.0.1 updates posted

GarageBand 20080303 200335 GarageBand 4.1.2 and Aperture 2.0.1 updates postedIf you’re an Aperture 2 user, you’ll probably want to summon Software Update or directly download the Aperture 2.0.1 Update that Apple released today. The update addresses performance issues and overall stability while also fixing some other minor issues. Is that vague enough for you? If you’re really interested in what has changed, Apple has posted details online.

Apple has also posted a GarageBand update that brings the iLife app to version 4.1.2. Like the Aperture update, this one improves stability but it also addresses issues with the automation of software instrument parameters, FireWire and USB based audio devices and Magic GarageBand–a lot of improvements by the sounds of it.

Updates are available online as well as from Software Update.

ArKaos releases VJ 3.5 video jockey software

ArKaos is launching the latest version of its video jockey
software, ArKaos VJ 3.5, which adds the following features, amongst others, FreeFrame plug-ins support, Firewire video output, a new automation mode and a new positional effect.

The application is fully compatible with the latest versions of Mac OS X 10.4.x and even Mac OS 9.x. The full version of ArKaos VJ 3.5 MIDI is available from the developer’s web site or
their distribution network at the recommended price of Euro 299 or USD$359. A fully functional, 21 day evaluation version can also be downloaded.
