Third public beta of Disco for Mac OS 10.4 released

Disco was created to be the missing solution for disc burning on your Mac. It utilizes a simple and fun workflow based interface through which users are able to accomplish real burning tasks with minimal effort. The release of beta 3 follows an immensely successful initial beta period and addresses over 30 suggestions and bugs.

One feature that has been given an overhaul in Beta 3 is Spandex. Spandex allows users to span large amounts of data over multiple discs. Beta 3 introduces a new “just works” principle to the whole process, and Spandex will now nest itself as deep as possible to ensure that your data can be spanned in almost any case.

Beta 3 introduces brand new features in Discography that allow the user to manage their index library, as well as index existing discs. As a result, Disco now offers full media cataloging and searching to its bag of features. Having announced Disco just over three months ago, hundreds of thousands of people have become interested and active readers of the Disco blog. Disco is now available to everyone as a public beta for the introductory price of USD$14.95
