The iPod too small to need a case, now has a case

SUMAJINSHUFFLE3RDGENCASESILICONE 20090410 085851 The iPod too small to need a case, now has a case

There’s far from anything revolutionary about silicon iPod cases anymore. This one only merits comment because it’s for the new iPod shuffle: a device so small, it doesn’t need a case. The iPod shuffle is barely noticeable at all and has only one port and one switch to defend, so the Sumajin 3rd Gen iPod Shuffle Silicone Case seems a bit much.

For USD$14, you get 2 flip-top sleeves to prevent your shuffle from getting scratched or dinged. The cases come in 6 colors plus “glow in the dark” which may be the most useful one–it might help you find your shuffle if you lose it!

Blambot’s FREE font for December is Marooned on Mars

preview mom 20081126 202110 Blambots FREE font for December is Marooned on MarsIf memory serves (and with each passing year, it serves a bit less accurately) Blambot usually offers a festive FREE font during the month of December. This year, the free font isn’t all that Christmassy but does hava classic comic lettering style: Marooned on Mars.

Nate Piekos, the font’s creator, describes it as a classic, sci-fi, brush-style font to “trumpet the arrival of your new alien overlords!” It’s beauteous.

Note:I don’t mention this as often as I should, but Blambot’s free fonts are free for not-for-profit use and for independent comics. Read the free fonts license agreement for details.

So that’s it, huh? That’s the Microsoft Seinfeld ad that is gonna put ”Get a Mac” to shame?

If this is what all those rumors were about, not only does Apple have nothing to worry about, but I no longer think Jerry Seinfeld is a traitor to the Mac cause: he totally scammed Microsoft out of their money and gave them nothing in return.

Jerry Seinfeld, you’re my hero.

Note:The second ad is a bit better…not much, but a bit.
