I’m a Canadian with a realistic outlook on the Canadian dollar. The Canadian dollar isn’t strong, the American dollar is weak. What’s more, I don’t expect this to last. But in the meantime, I can’t understand how US companies can still rationalize charging Canadian customers more for the same merchandise.
Today, I found an email from Apple Canada in my inbox stating “iPod shuffle. Now just $55” That’s funny, I think to myself, it was $49 yesterday.
Note:UPDATE (02/27/08 – 20:04 PT): The CDN$6 price hike is also being added to the cost of the 2GB iPod shuffle from Apple Canada.
