CDFinder 5.0 media cataloging software now available

cdfinder5 20070522 195342 CDFinder 5.0 media cataloging software now availableNorbert M. Doerner of West-Forest-Systems announced today that they have released version 5.0 of CDFinder, the company’s media cataloging software.

The new version sports a new user interface and can now catalog thumbnail previews for photo and image files of several types (JPG, TIFF, EPS, PDF, PSD, PNG, GIF, BMP, and several RAW formats). CDFinder 5.0 also adds direct integration with Apple Pages, Apple Keynote, Adobe InDesign, QuarkXPress and other applications allowing you to drag any file from CDFinder directly into an open document of the other application.

CDFinder sells for USD$39 for a single private license. CDFinder 5.0 is a free update to registered users of previous CDFinder versions.

Catalog 1.0 disk cataloging software released

Neometric Software has announced a new software product called Catalog. Catalog allows users to easily index, browse, and search their volumes, even if they do not have physical access to the drive. Whether you need to manage your backup CDs, find a specific font located in a stock art package, or just want to catalog your audio CDs, Catalog will assist you.

Catalog can be purchased for USD$20 at the Neometric Software website. A shareware version can also be downloaded, free of charge, to try.
