Apple posts iChat Update 1.0

Do you like your text, video and audio encrypted when you use iChat AV? If you do, Apple has posted an update that “renews the .Mac certificate required by iChat for encrypting text, audio and video conferences.” All this science I don’t understand, but it sounds like if you want your iChat conferences encrypted, this update is for you… unless you’re still on a PowerPC chip. in which case this update is for you.

I suppose you could just use Software Update and have it choose the right update, but that’s taking the easy way out.

iFixit has posted the first internal photos of Apple’s Core 2 Duo ‘Merom’ MacBook Pro. The disassembly features high resolution images of the redesigned logic
board and Intel’s new Merom chip. Also included is the first photos of Apple’s 802.11n draft board for the MacBook, and Apple’s new 6x dual-layer 9.7mm SuperDrive.
