WML page for Macworld Keynote

With so much interest in the keynote, I thought that I would add a little more coverage for those who may not be able to make it. My buddy can’t go, he will be in class so he wanted a site that he could access from his cell phone. Together we developed a site in wml that I can update from my phone (while in the keynote) and he can read bits of information as it posts. You can read more about it at my blog. I thought that I would just make it public in case there are more people who would like the news as it comes out (but that won’t be around a computer to check the web. Hope this helps someone.

Motorola Previews iTunes Phone at CES

According to the eWeek article the phone that was demonstrated by a Motorola executive at an International Consumer Electronics Show keynote is the first of many Motorola devices that will support iTunes this year. Details on the phone itself are still unclear but it is believed that it syncs with a computer and the iTunes Music Store like an iPod does, and incorporates the iPod interface for navigating and playing digital music.

Buffalo News reporter recommends Mac over PC under the tree

In his article titled “Choosing a Mac computer for the holidays”, Buffalo News reporter Phillip Robinson advises those who have set themselves out to buy a new computer this season to think Mac first. States Robinson, “my first suggestion is to think Apple Macintosh. Too many PC people just ignore the Mac because of the conventional wisdom that they’re too different, too marginal, and too expensive. … Not so.” He goes on to compare Apples with Dells to show that Mac as being the bargain choice.

A good article to email to a PC using friend on the verge of a computer purchase.
