MacSpeech announces iListen MX

Macintosh speech recognition authority MacSpeech has announced iListen MX, a new version of iListen exclusively available from participating Apple Specialist dealers and the MacSpeech web site. iListen MX includes the latest version of iListen, the best headset/microphone offered by MacSpeech, and an enhanced list of built-in commands for hands-free control of the mouse, GarageBand, iDVD, iMovie, iPhoto, and iTunes.

iListen MX is available immediately and sells for USD$219 on the MacSpeech web site or USD$199 from participating Apple Specialist dealers. If purchased separately, the components that make up iListen MX would sell for over USD$240.

Belkin announces TuneCommand and TuneTalk accessories for iPod

Belkin has announced TuneCommand for iPod, a device that allows you to roam and play the songs from your iPod virtually anywhere. Using RF technology, the TuneCommand Remote works from up to 150 feet away, regardless of barriers such as walls, ceilings, or windows that limit traditional remotes. It allows for control of your iPod to remain with you, even if your iPod is stashed in your glove compartment, backpack, or your home entertainment center. TuneCommand fits the 3G, 4G, photo, and mini iPod. It will begin shipping in North America, August 2005. TuneCommand for iPod will retail for USD$49.99

Belkin has also announced TuneTalk for iPod, a device that allows you to record audio to your iPod. By simply plugging the TuneTalk into your iPod, you can record memos, lectures, interviews, or conversations. The TuneTalk fits the 3G, 4G, and photo iPod and will begin shipping in North America in late July 2005, selling for USD$29.99
