Apple issues a handful of updates. Daylight Savings Time is System Update time.
Today Apple has set our Software Update icon bouncing to the tune of five different updates.
Security Update 2007-002 (available in three flavors: Universal, PPC and Panther) improves the security of iChat and UserNotificationCenter with an added item for Tiger users in a CoreServices component update.
Final Cut Pro 5.1.3 provides important bug fixes and is recommended for all Final Cut Pro 5.1, 5.1.1, and 5.1.2 customers.
The WebObjects 5.3.3 updates WebObjects 5.3 systems to observe the Daylight Saving Time (DST) and 2007 time zone changes as of January 8, 2007.
Also on the DST kick is the Daylight Saving Time Update (for Tiger and Panther) which is for both Mac OS X and Mac OS X Server and addresses the same Daylight Saving Time changes in the U.S. and Canada as the WebObjects update.
Lastly, Java for Mac OS X Update 5 (for Tiger and Panther) address (you guessed it) the same Daylight Savings Time changes as those last two updates and delivers improved reliability and compatibility for Java 2 Platform Standard Edition 5.0 and Java 1.4 on Mac OS X 10.4.8 and later. This release updates J2SE 5.0 to version 1.5.0_07, Java 1.4 to version 1.4.2_12 and improves SWT compatibility for J2SE 5.0.
