The graphic and screenshot annotating and sharing application was demo’d by Plasq at Macworld 2007 and a year later it’s ready for the general public.

cr4skype 20071010 111436 Call Recorder for Skype updtaed to v2.2 with side by side recording optionEcamm Network has announced the release of Call Recorder for Skype v2.2. The new version adds a side-by-side recording option, Leopard compatibility, and fixes some minor issues.

Call Recorder adds a simple recording window to Skype for Mac, allowing users to automatically save exact reproductions of all incoming and outgoing Skype calls. Calls are saved as QuickTime files, which can be converted to MP3 format or split into separate tracks for further editing and podcasting. Call Recorder uses state-of-the-art AAC and H.264 encoding to ensure high quality audio and video at a minimum of disk space.

Call Recorder is available for $14.95. A demo is provided free of charge to let users try it out before purchasing.
