Fast DVD Copy offers ”Movie Only” function

Velan Software announce earlier this week that version 3.5 of Fast DVD Copy for Mac OS X is available for download on the company’s website. Fast DVD Copy allows users to back up their DVD and audio CD collections, Playstation 2 games, DVD-ROMs and CD-ROMs. Version 3.5 offers a new “Movie Only” function that cuts out a DVD’s menus and special features leaving nothing but the movie itself, thus saving disc space and affording less lossy compression.
Among the new features introduced since version 3.0, Fast DVD Copy now offers:

  • Support for dual layer burning

  • Support for ARccOS protected DVDs
  • RCE protection handling
  • A “Movie Only” function to copy DVDs without bonuses or menus
  • Improved compatibility with DVD players
