SubRosaSoft releases FREE MusicRenamer
SubRosaSoft.com today announced the availability of MusicRenamer version 1.0. The utility automates the renaming of music files to a consistent and easily readable format.
Based on the one of the features found in the latest version of SubRosaSoft’s FileSalvage, MusicRenamer uses the ID3 tags embedded in your tunes to help you avoid hours of manually editing the file names in the Finder. With a couple of clicks, the files of your music library will be renamed to the following format: artist, album name, track number, and song title. A folder with a few thousand songs can be renamed in less than a minute.
