DLO announces the TuneStik FM Transmitter for iPod–not just for car audio
Even though the new TuneStick FM Transmitter for iPod comes with DLO’s ingenious steering wheel remote, the device is more that just a car audio gadget.
The TuneStik is the first product to combine a wireless FM transmitter with a powerful RF remote control for iPod playback and control in the car, at home, or anywhere there’s an FM radio. Because of the TuneStik’s 30-pin pass-through dock connector, it can be combined with virtually any iPod accessory–adding an RF remote and/or an FM transmitter to a user’s existing iPod gear. TuneStik is available immediately for USD$59.99.
To set up the TuneStick, you find an available frequency on your FM stereo, and match that frequency on the iPod using the TuneStik’s remote control. TuneStik includes 4 programmable presets, a full 30-pin pass-through connector for charging and synching your iPod, and an RF remote control with a range of approximately 40 feet. For in-car use, the TuneStik comes complete with a steering-wheel cradle for the remote control, so you can navigate your iPod controls while driving.
