The arcade video game emulator MacMAME has been update to version 0.102u5 and adds parity with Win32 MAME 0.102u5 and fixed multiple keyboards functionality. Wars not make one great, but Star Wars Battlefront makes it to gold master

Star Wars Battlefront, an open-ended single-player and multiplayer action game, has been declared gold master for the Macintosh. Battlefront, which allows players to re-live all of the epic battles from the classic and prequel Star Wars film trilogies, is scheduled to begin shipping Monday, July 18th. Licensed from LucasArts, Star Wars Battlefront was developed for the Mac by Beenox Studios.

How are the folks at LucasArts going to keep the Rebels from shooting the Ewoks?

Aspyr keeping its system requirement cards close to its vest

Aspyr Media today announced they plan to no longer announce preliminary system requirements for games under development. On all future projects, only final system requirements will be given once testing of those requirements is complete — typically 4 to 6 weeks before the game ships.

Aspyr’s game utility for Mac, Game Agent, will have the most up-to-date information on final system requirements for all released games and those still under development. A free download of Game Agent is available here.
