Game Agent 1.1 released by Aspyr

Aspyr Game Agent version 1.1 has been released and users who already use the original Game Agent can get the update simply by
running the application. To download the complete 1.1 version click the link above.

Game Agent allows users to easily match a computer’s hardware with system requirements of various games by automatically checking a specific Mac’s configuration, including: OS version,
RAM size, video card, and processor speed, and then, game by game, tells the
user if the game “will run well”, “will run” or “will not run” on that
system. It then gives a summary of hardware or software updates necessary
for those games that will not run. Game Agent also automatically updates
its list of Aspyr’s games and their system requirements, making it easy to
access current, personalized gaming information.
The new features in Game Agent 1.1 are:

  • Users can customize their Mac configuration or the standard Apple
configurations to see which games will run with different upgrades installed
(more RAM, different video cards, etc.) Custom configurations can be saved
    for later use.

  • Aspyr Game Agent now displays ESRB ratings for all games.
  • Game Agent 1.1 will also periodically offer users special promotions on
Aspyr titles. Run Game Agent now to get a discount on one of Aspyr’s most
    recently shipped Mac game bundles.
