Reflection — Screencasting on the iPad just got a lot easier
Since I got my iPad 1, I’ve been looking for an effective way to screencast tutorials for it.

Take the glare off of those iChat bubbles
Oh, how far we have come. When the first iMacs came out, we enjoyed about 5 years of absolutely everything from staplers to grills coming in several translucent colors. When Mac OS X came out, it inspired the overuse of Aqua-styled text and glossy bubbles.
But now we’re moving on; those things are passe. This is evident in much of Leopard’s user interface and in a program by Joshua Bryant called iChat Matte. The program buffs the shine off your iChat dialog bubbles and makes them into simpler, subtler, colored balloons.
Bryant is careful to point out in his installer that iChat Matte overwrites default iChat files and that he takes no responsibility “if your computer erupts in flames – this most likely has nothing to do with iChat Matte and everything to do with your battery being recalled”. There is an uninstaller included as well, so worry not.
iChat Matte is freeware.
