speaklikejobs 20080129 203430 Speak like JobsFor anyone who watched both the Bill Gates’ CES Keynote Address and Steve Jobs’ Macworld Keynote Address, one simple conclusion is blatantly obvious: Steve Jobs is a much better public speaker than Bill Gates. Carmine Gallo of Business Week has posted an informative article entitled Deliver a Presentation like Steve Jobs where he has analyzed Jobs’ latest keynote and learned 10 key points that he explains so that you, too, can speak like Jobs.

Finding quality fonts outside the Adobe Type Foundry

Charles Pickett has written an informative article for Publish in which he explores some great sources for quality type faces.

Quality fonts are important, as Pickett notes, “DTP has brought publishing to the masses but has also devalued and commoditized type to the point where users get most of their fonts in software bundles, through piracy or as downloads of low-quality freeware.” While this might create fear in fonts coming anywhere but from trusted Adobe, Pickett has some advice on how to get your font fix without sacrificing quality.
