Adobe Creative Suite CS3 to be unveiled March 27th

According to Macworld UK, Adobe is set to announce Adobe Creative Suite 3 at a special event in New York on 27 March. Some sites are reporting this event as being the stage for CS3′s release, this Adobe staffer blog says otherwise.

Many Mac users in the graphics industries have been holding off on buying new Intel-based Mac Pros until the release of CS3. So, I’m sure the folks at Apple are hoping this announcement will result in some big MacPro sales figures. Adobe calls the March 27th announcement “the largest software release in Adobe’s 25-year history.”

Hardmac.com shows Core Duo-based MacBook owners how to go 802.11n

I have to admit I was a little miffed that Core 2 Duo MacBook users are able to upgrade to the latest wireless network standard with a simple firmware upgrade. I was further annoyed at how these second generation Intel Mac owners whined about the minimal price they were asked to pay for this upgrade. Now I can grouse with the rest of them because Hardmac.com (Macbidouille for you Francophones) has the scoop on how older Intel Mac users can get in on the n action.

AirPort Extreme Update 2007-001 posted

Apple is short and sweet about what this update does:

This update is recommended for all Intel-based Macintosh computers and provides compatibility with AirPort Extreme base stations and networks.

And, yes, it means you’ll have to restart again.
