MacMerc.TV– SuperDuper!

Have you made your New Years resolutions for 2009 yet? Is it too late for me to suggest that you add “back up” to the list?

In this edition of MacMerc.TV, I take a look at Shirt Pocket Software’s backup utility, SuperDuper!, and show you why you’d want to use it instead of or, better yet, in addition to Mac OS X 10.5′s Time Machine.

Cooliris comes to the iPhone/iPod touch

A couple of months ago, I told you about Cooliris for Safari. It was fun to play with, but I try to keep my Safari add-ons to a minimum: the app is strained enough as it is.

Today, I find out that Cooliris is available for iPhone and iPod touch. Very cool! It’s a free and available in the iTunes App Store
Cooliris comes to the iPhone/iPod touch. Being an iPhone app, it keeps pretty much to itself and once you get the hang of searching for rich media and browsing the 3-D wall with a flick of your finger or a tilt of the device, you’ll be hooked. Search for keywords or discover new images in Cooliris’ handful of categories. Stunning.
