Apple Specialists announce winner of $14,000 Sweepstakes
The Apple Specialist have announced the winner of the grand prize in its “The Complete Mac Life” contest that was held May 9 to June 11, 2005. The grand prize consists of an assortment of several Apple Macintosh computers, Apple iPods and related equipment, accessories and software worth more than $14,000 (see below for a partial list). The prize will be awarded on Wednesday July 13 at 10 a.m. in the Apple Specialist Pavilion at next week’s Macworld Conference and Expo in Boston July 11-14, 2005.
The lucky winner is Herb Sears of Rochester, N.H. Sears entered the contest at MacEdge in Dover, N.H. MacEdge, which was founded in 1984 — the year the Macintosh was born — is New Hampshire’s largest Apple Specialist, with locations in Dover, Nashua and Keene.
The “The Complete Mac Life” sweepstakes was sponsored by IDG World Expo Corp. and the Apple Specialist Marketing Co-op. Following is a partial listing of the complete grand prize:
