In each half-hour episode, Pogue uses his unique brand of humor to help average consumers unravel the mystery behind complex electronic gadgets used in their daily lives. Whether it’s choosing the right digital camera, unlocking fun tricks on your cell phone or learning how to edit your own home videos, Pogue’s unique
knowledge and expertise helps it all make sense. The series premieres Friday, May 18, at 8 PM (ET/PT) and will air every Friday on The Science Channel.

With the instructions detailed in the video found after the “Read more” and an adapter from Mark Hoekstra (availability and price to be announced), the video’s producer, users of 4G, 3G, 2G and even 1G iPods will be empowered with the knowledge and hardware necessary to convert their mini-spinning-hard-drive based media players into a power conserving, solid state, Compact Flash-based iPod of the future!! …well, maybe that’s pushing it.
