Mackie Control Universal supported by Final Cut Pro 5 and Soundtrack Pro
LOUD Technologies’ Mackie announced at the recent NAB show that Apple’s latest versions of the popular Final Cut Pro and Soundtrack Pro audio/video editing software applications offer full interoperability with the Mackie Control Universal (MCU) touch-sensitive control surface.
The MCU is part of an extended family of software controllers that includes the MCU, the Mackie Control Universal Extender, an 8-channel extension for the MCU, and the Mackie Control C4, a dedicated virtual instrument and plug-in controller. Mackie developed this entire range of highly successful products in close cooperation with Apple/Emagic.
The Mackie Control Universal (USD$1,299), Mackie Control Universal Extenders (USD$1,099), Mackie Control C4 (USD$1,299) and Mackie Digital X Bus (starting at USD$12,995) are currently available through authorized Mackie dealers worldwide.
