Valentine’s Special

This week weíll work on healing the rift between PCís and Macs with a few compatibility enhancers. I can feel the love blossoming already.

OEexporter/Importer

Convert address books between Windows and Mac versions of Outlook Express and Entourage with these scripts. The author provides some extensive instructions on how best to share your list of loved ones with both platforms.

icon2ico

Convert icons to and from Mac format and Windows XP format. Although, I canít see any reason why youíd want to insult your Mac with Windows icons. I guess itís all about giving and receiving.

Popper 1.6

Now this one is fun. With Popper, you can send pop-up messages to Windows 9x users on your network (so long as they have the winpopup application running). What a way to grab your PC sweetiesí attention!

SharePoints

Of course love means nothing without sharing. Share Points lets you take control of your PC (and Mac) file sharing through the Share Points preference pane. If you like this program, consider donating to the author.

Thatís it for our PC-Mac love fest. I hope youíve found this weekís features handy, and I hope we all can strengthen our relationships with our dear ones regardless of their platform preference.

As always, Iíll be back next week with more great free stuff.
