Pre-Expo Mac rumors bring tales of sub-$500 headless iMac
ThinkSecret has the exclusive report on a rumored bare bones, G4-based iMac with no display that will sell for $499.
The new machine is designed to attract Windows users impressed by the iPod but put off by the price tags on the current Mac catalog products. If this rumor turns out to be true, Apple’s official announcement of this bare bones machine should be made by Steve Jobs at the MacWorld Expo in San Francisco at the keynote address on January 11.
