MacHeist II Bundle now 14 apps for $49. Time is ticking folks.

MacHeist 20080120 185240 MacHeist II Bundle now 14 apps for $49. Time is ticking folks. When we last left MacHeist… it was inching its way toward an amazing USD$100,000 collected for charity. Well, since then, it has trampled that measly hundred grand, surpassed a quarter million (yes, USD$250,000) and has set its sights in the goal of USD$300,000.

When you purchase a MacHeist bundle for $49, 25% of that purchase price gets slated for donation to one or all of a list of charities. Obviously, the more bundles sold, the more money that gets donated, but that’s not the only benefit.

To “make it worth your while” the Heisters have bumped the app count of the bundle from 10 to 14–IF they reach the goal of raising $300,000 for charity (if they, don’t, you still get 13 apps). Added to the bundle are Tiki Magic Mini Golf, Wingnuts 2 and Speed Download. With these applications added to the previous ten, the combined value of the bundle works out to USD$498.60–that’s more than ten times what you’re paying for it. Once $300,000 has been raised for charity, VectorDesigner will be added to the list to complete the 14 app bundle.

As I post this, there are only 3 days remaining to get in on this deal. Go buy a bundle!!

Make your own shirts and other swag in the MacMerc Store

confomat 20071202 233521 Make your own shirts and other swag in the MacMerc StoreMany of the designs in the MacMerc Store have been wildly popular, but we often get requests for shirts in different styles, colors or sizes than we currently make available. So rather than make each design in every possible style permutation, we have set up a special section of the store where you can make your own shirt, your own way. You might even save a bit of money!!

In addition to the exclusive MacMerc graphics, you can also upload your own artwork or set type in a wide selection of fonts. You can do more than make a MacMerc shirt, you can make your MacMerc shirt. Heck, you don’t even have to make a shirt; you can make shoes, mousepads, caps, messenger bags–check out the selection for yourself!

Your MacMerc shirt is available in every color and in every size; it’s just waiting for you to make it!

Note:We are working (read “fighting”) with the Spreadshirt theme editor to make the MacMerc Store match the rest of the site. Please do not mistake its vintage look for a sign of atrophy. I assure you, we are open.

UPDATE: Done. Thanks August!!
