Who has the 100 Millionth iPod?

452310830 0e4aac58a1 m Who has the 100 Millionth iPod?Apple today announced that the 100 millionth iPod has been sold, making the iPod the fastest selling music player in history. The first iPod was sold five and a half years ago, in November 2001, and since then Apple has introduced more than 10 new iPod models, including five generations of iPod, two generations of iPod mini, two generations of iPod nano and two generations of iPod shuffle. Along with iTunes and the iTunes online music store, the iPod has transformed how tens of millions of music lovers acquire, manage and listen to their music.

The iPod has also sparked an ecosystem of over 4,000 accessories made specifically for the iPod that range from fashionable cases to speaker systems, and more than 70 percent of 2007-model US automobiles currently offer iPod connectivity.

What I’m wondering is, who bought the 100 millionth iPod and is Apple doing anything extra special for that customer? Maybe I bought it…or maybe it was you!

Green House produces component ”tower” for Mac mini

63348790 e8a6eb0f88 m Green House produces component tower for Mac miniIf you just can’t stand to let your Mac mini be mini, Green House has they answer. They have produced a 250GB or 160BG USB 2.0 / Firewire drive that you can stack your mini on top of (nothing too new there). And for music lovers, they have a speaker system / USB hub combo and 15W amplifier subwoofer system…also stackable. If you were to purchase and assemble all these units with a Mac mini, it would look something like what you see to the left here.
