The Myvu Solo Plus is a head mounted media viewer for the iPod Video, iPod Classic, iPod nano (3rd Gen) and iPod Touch. It connects directly to the iPod through the dock connector, and provides sound and video, similar to how it would be if you connected your iPod to your TV. It provides upto 4 hours of viewing time, powered by it’s built-in rechargeable battery.
You wear it on your head the same way you would a pair of glasses, and a small controller dangles down. On the controller, you can adjust the contrast, and the brightness.
In my testing, I connect up my iPod Touch and it work seamlessly, it worked both with videos I added to my iPod and YouTube Videos. The quality of the videos that I played was not superb, but it was good enough for watching a few YouTube videos and some videos I put on my iPod.
I would recommend this product to people who use their iPods for watching a lot of videos.
