Browser Bonanza

Vertus unmasks Fluid Mask 2.0, a powerful image cut-out tool

Vertus has announced the release of Fluid Mask 2.0, an upgrade to its Adobe Photoshop plug-in that boasts a set of new features designed to improve usability and results. A key feature is the new Edge Overlay that shows clean object edges within an image before masking commences and makes it possible to select, group and mask objects in images to make great cut-outs.

Vertus also coincides the launch of Fluid Mask 2.0 with the announcement of a price reduction to USD$199 from USD$249 following overwhelming interest from non-corporate customers as well as professional users.

Speed Download 4 released today

Yazsoft today announced the immediate availability of Speed Download 4, Yazsoft’s download manager for Mac OS X. Version 4 is a universal application optimized to take advantage of the power of Intel-based Macs with new features and sporting a new look.

Speed Download 4 is available immediately through Yazsoft. A free 15 day trial is available. Users that have registered Speed Download from March 01, 2006 to April 20, 2006 can upgrade for free. Pre-registered SD users can upgrade to Speed Download 4 for only USD$15. Pricing is as follows:

  • $25 : 1 User license.

  • $40 : 2 User license. (Save $10)
  • $100 : 5 user license (Save $25)
