Pacecar Technologies Mac mini Toolset

German company Pacecar Technologies introduces new Toolset for Apple Mac mini. Obviously, looking at the Mac mini’s housing, it’s not that easy to open without damaging it. Many users will still want to upgrade their brand new Mac mini with RAM, a larger hard drive, etc.–this new tool-set will help you to easily open the case of your Mac mini for upgrading. The package includes the tool and a DVD with video instructions. It is priced at 14,90 EUR incl. VAT.

Note:Warning: The Mac mini must be opened by a certified Apple technician. Opening the Mac mini without such certification and the training implied by such certification will violate the warranty of the Mac mini. IOGEAR gets on the bandwagon with Mac mini-minded gadgets

In a new section on the IOGEAR website, the connectivity and peripheral manufacturer offers a few suggestions on which of its products marry best with Apple’s new Mac mini. Thus far, the page includes KVM switches, USB hubs, hard drives and drive enclosures. In spite of the “Mac mini-minded” moniker on the page, none of these products seems to have been specifically manufactured with the Mac mini in mind nor are they any better suited for the Mac mini that they are any other Mac.
